About Noble Restaurant Success

Better Leaders. Better Restaurants.
Stronger Communities.

When I started Noble Restaurant Success, I thought I was building a consulting business. Over time, I realized I was building something much bigger.

In a deeply divided world, I've spent a lot of time asking myself a simple question:

What's my part in making it better?

I can't solve every problem. I can't change politics. But I do understand restaurants.

For more than twenty years, I've watched restaurants and cafés become so much more than places to eat. I've seen first dates become marriages, entrepreneurs build businesses over coffee, families celebrate milestones, and regulars become lifelong friends.

Those experiences taught me that the best businesses offer something much bigger than food. They become places where people belong, outside of home or work.

I believe independent restaurants are uniquely positioned to create those spaces. They create local jobs, support schools and nonprofits, strengthen neighborhood economies, and become gathering places where communities take shape.

Unfortunately, it's a difficult time to be an independent restaurant. Every week another community staple closes its doors.

That's why Noble Restaurant Success exists.

Why Leadership?

Throughout my career I've worked nearly every position in a restaurant. From dishwasher to general manager. I've owned restaurants, built catering businesses, and led teams inside both independent companies and national brands. That experience taught me one lesson above all else:

Strong restaurants don't happen by accident.

They happen because someone intentionally builds leaders, develops teams, creates clarity, and builds systems that don't depend on one person. Most independent restaurant owners were never taught how to do that.

That's why I shifted Noble away from simply building programs and toward developing leaders.

Because restaurants don't just need better systems. They need leaders with the capacity to use them. That philosophy became Restaurant Rhythm, and it shapes every service Noble offers.

Meet the Founder

Headshot of Colby Behrends, founder of Noble Restaurant Success

I'm Colby Behrends, founder of Noble Restaurant Success. After more than two decades in hospitality, I've learned that leadership isn't about having all the answers.

It's about creating environments where people can succeed.

My goal isn't simply to help restaurants become more profitable. It's to help restaurant owners become the leaders their restaurants need, so their businesses become stronger third places for the communities they serve.

If you're ready to stop carrying your restaurant on your shoulders and start building a business that thrives without depending on one person, I'd love to help.

Rooting for you,

-Colby
